Grover Monroe Vinson
Services for Grover Monroe Vinson, 75, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Simpson Cemetery Tabernacle with the Revs. Horace Fletcher and Clayton McClendon officiating.
Mr. Vinson, of Rt. 1, Pollok, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1904 in Wells, Texas and was a lifelong resident of this county. Mr. Vinson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Wells.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Evelyn Vinson of Pollok; son, John Vinson of Pollok; granddaughter, Judy Carol Vinson of Pollok; brother, J.P. Vinson of Pollok; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Clawson, Mrs. Alice Simeson of Bay Cliff, Mrs. Ottie Goodwin and Mrs. Hattie Evans, both of Pollok; a number of nieces and nephews.
