Mrs. Goodwin Final Rites Set Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Jettie Ann Goodwin, 48, will be held at 2 p.,. Saturday in the Mt. Hope Chapel at Wells with Rev. Homer Greenville officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery under the direction of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goodwin, a native of Wells, died in a Houston hospital Thursday morning after a brief illness. She had lived in Wells most of her life and was a member of the Church By Jesus Christ of Wells.
The body will lie in state at the residence of Mrs. Goodwin's sister, Mrs. Raymond Goodwin of Wells, until time for the service.
Survivors include her husband, George C. Goodwin of Wells; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Hodges of Wells and Miss Linda Goodwin of Wells; a son, Denmon R. Goodwin of Andrews; her mother, Mrs. Martha Vinson of Wells; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Williams of Texas City, Mrs. Ottie Goodwin of Wells, Mrs. Hattie Evans of Apple Springs and Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Lufkin; two brothers, Grover Vinson of Wells and Preston Vinson of Wells.
