SIMPSONVILLE, SC - Green Lee Knighton, 65, died March 3, 1942, at his home on Simpsonville Route 2, after several weeks illness.
Mr. Knighton was survived by his widow: Mrs. Eva (LeMaster) Knighton; two sons and two daughters: Boyd Knighton, Paul Knighton, Mrs. Clarence (Ruth Knighton) Gwinn, and Mrs. Truman (Zelon Knighton) Fowler; six grandchildren; and two brothers: William Miles Knighton and Joseph Marion "Joe" Knighton.
Funeral services were conducted, at the Simpsonville United Methodist Church, with the Reverend O. P. Parker and the Reverend J. P. Lupo. Interment was in the Simpsonville City Cemetery
