Born in American Fork, July 11, 1905, a son of Edward A. and Rose Erickson Clements, he married Emma Culmer, of Lindon Dec. 2, 1924 [later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on 24 Feb 1932]. They had seven children.
Mr Clements engaged in the wool and hide business and was employed by Bissenger and Company for many years. An LDS church member, he was active in the Fourth ward elders quorum.
Survivors include his widow, parents, and six sons and daughters: LaVell, Ronald, Opal and Sally Clements all of American Fork, and Kenneth and Murdin Clements, Navy overseas, and eight brothers and sisters: Wallace, Glen, and Edna Clements Myrberg, all of Salt Lake City; Blaine, Welby, and Malan Clements and Mrs Elaine C Jones, American Fork; Mrs Marie C Deakin, Midvale.
Funeral services were held Saturday December 1, 1945 at 2 p.m. in the American Fork Fourth LDS ward chapel, Bishop Stewart A. Durrant presiding. Friends called Friday evening and Saturday prior to services at the family home in American Fork.
