Two farm residence fires experienced by Henry Isaac Tiffany:

The Watertown News, Watertown, WI, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1885.

FORT ATKINSON. Monday noon, while H. Tiffany and wife, livjng in the south part of the town, were in this city, their farm residence was burned to the ground. The smaller children had just gone to school for the afternoon, and the elder sons, Cameron and Henry, had gone over to Parker Gunison's. Though the cause is nor positively known, the probability is that the fire for the noon meal, from a defective flue, ignited the wood work.
