Laverne F. Tiffany, 88, of Fort Atkinson, WI., died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.



Laverne was born on January 1, 1924 at his home in the Town of Hebron to Henry and Hattie(Herbert) Tiffany. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1941.On April 4, 1943, Laverne married Marjorie Hummel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Laverne was employed as a salesman for Diversey Wyndotte Chemicals which took him around the country. He enjoyed deer hunting, his Packers and his John Deere tractor.

Laverne is survived by his wife Marjorie, Daughters; Judy Lenton, Fort Atkinson, Courtnie McCurdy, Greendale, Grandchildren; Scott (Laura) Buckingham, Milwaukee, Tonna (Scott) Moran, Cambridge, Tammy (Kirk) Nelson, Fort Atkinson, Tiffany McCurdy-Foster, West Allis, Whitney McCurdy, Franklin and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers; Sherman and Henry, Sisters; Margaret, Harriet, Armeda and Josephine.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11am at the St. Johns Community Church, N2560 CTH J, Fort Atkinson with Rev. Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in the Town of Sumner.

Friends may call at the church from 10am until the time of service on Monday, November 26, 2012.
