BIO - Henry Birch Tucker was Born the 5 Jul 1861 Mississippi to Samuel Moses Tucker and Nicey Rebecca Dewitt of South Carolina. In 1870 at the age of 9 he worked as a farm laborer. In 1880 at the age of 19 he continued to work on a farm. In 1887 at the age of 26 he married Nancy Ellen Gordon born 18 Feb 1868 in South Carolina to William Nelson Gordon and Mary Jane Dillingham. They had eight children: Clara, Rebecca, Martha, Cora, Ruth, Joseph B, Zina and Florence. From1900-1920 they had moved to 3 different states. New Mexico, Arizona and Texas where he continued to work as a farmer. In 1930 he worked as a laborer doing odd jobs. Died on 4 Apr 1935 Anthony New Mexico he is buried at the Anthony Community Cemetery in New Mexico. Nancy Ellen Gordon Joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints in 1882. She was baptized on 1 Mar 1882 died on 9 Mar 1955 in Pima Arizona Buried South Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
