MADISON — Alfred Suter, age 71, of 940 Lawrence Street, died on Friday, .January 2, 1976, of an apparent heart attack at his home. Born in Medford, WI on December 3, 1904, he was a Madison resident for more than 50 years. He was the founder of Quality Hardware at 1201 S Park St. retiring In 1970. He married the former Clara A. Damm in 1933 at Milwaukee. Mr. Suter was a member of St. Mark s Lutheran Church. He Is survived by his wife; three sons, Marlowe 913 Elka La., Jerome of 5814 Bartlett La., and Rev. Kendrick of Flint, Mi ; two brothers, Robert and Gottlieb both of Medford, WI.; and four sisters, Frieda Suter of Marshfield, Mrs. Bertha Holtz, Mrs Clara Abegglen and Mrs. Hilda Carstensen all of Medford; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at ST. MARK'S LUTHERAN
CHURCH. 605 Spruce Street, at 1pm. on Monday, January 5, The Rev. Donald Rudrud officiating. Burial In Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 3-6 pm on Sunday, Jan. 4, at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. Please omit flowers Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
