Funeral services were conducted here Tuesday afternoon at the Community United Church of Christ for Miss Frieda Marie Suter, 86-year-old Medford area resident who died Saturday morning at Memorial hospital, Medford where she had been a patient for two days. Prior to entering the hospital, she had resided at the Continental nursing home at Abbotsford.
Rev. Milton Petzold officiated and burial took placed in Evergreen cemetery. The body lay in state at the Hemer funeral home, Medford.
Serving as pallbearers were Robert, Jerrill, Thomas and Ricky Carstensen, Werner Waldhart and Jerome and Marlowe Suter.
Miss Suter was born May 16, 1890 at Medford and received her education in the Medford area schools. She resided in the Medford area until entering the Abbotsford nursing home.
She was a member of the Community United Church of Christ and GUG Germania.
Surviving her are two brothers, Robert and Gottlieb, and three sisters, Bertha, Mrs. Henry Holtz, Mrs. Clara Abegglen and Hilda, Mrs. Baldwin Carstensen, all of Medford. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
