Interment, under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia, was to follow in the Mount Pleasant cemetery.
Mr. Fisher, 87, died late Sunday [sic Saturday] night in a Columbia home following an illness of two years.
He was the father of Archie Fisher of Monroe and S. E. Fisher of West Monroe.
Other survivors include a son, B. L. Fisher, Jr., of Columbia; six daughters, Mrs. Flora Cottingham, Mrs. Ethel Whitlock, Mrs. Onnie Smith and Mrs. Erby Wilson, all of Columbia, Mrs. Bertha Mae Woolley, Midland, Texas, and Mrs. Lola Brensing, New Orleans; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
