Mrs Ola Frances (Bevans) Walker English of Canton, Mo died Saturday July 26, 2008 at the Lewis County Nursing Home near Canton, Mo.
She was born August 10, 1912 near Williamstown, Mo in Lewis County –
Daughter of the late Abe I. Bevans and late Linnie Glisan Bevans.
Ola married Luch D. Walker October 14, 1933 – he passed away January 4, 1976; Ola married James E. English July 14, 1977 – he passed away November 13, 1987.
She also was preceded in death by her Grandparents, father (Abe) who died February 19, 1974, mother (Linnie) who died October 8, 1990, husbands, two brothers Cecil and Robert Bevans, two sisters Mabel Lynn Burke and Ella Tompkins, and two nephews Larry and Gary Tompkins.
Survivors include one sister Hazel Bevans and Bill of Winfield, Mo. A niece Tara Burke Leas and family of San Antonio, Tx. A special friend Elmer Munzlinger of near Williamstown, Mo, and other relatives and friends.
Ola was the oldest living member of Providence Baptist Church near Williamstown, Mo.
Funeral services will be Saturday August 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo with Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Cemetery near Williamstown, Mo. Visitation will be Friday after 4 with the family being present to greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo.
