Peggy Lou Raper, Crane, MO, daughter of Luie and Cora (Young) Wilson was born August 22, 1932 in Hurley, MO and departed this life October 6, 2011 in Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 79.
Peggy graduated from Crane High School and was united in marriage to Billy J. Raper in December 1951. She was a beautician in Crane for many years and also managed the first Rapid Roberts to open which was located in Crane. She was of the Christian faith.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy J. Raper.
Survivors include: two sons, Terry L. Raper and wife, Pat of Las Vegas, NV and Billy Martin "Marty" Raper of Aurora, MO; 6 grandchildren, Billy Sean Raper, Terry Matt Raper, Brandi Nicole Raper Bossow, Leah Brooke Raper MacKinnon, Nigel E. Raper and Jessica K. Evans; 6 great-grandchildren, Regan Bossow, Ryder Bossow, Austin Raper, Kodi Raper, Rylan MacKinnon and Aubrie MacKinnon and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Faith Chapel in Crane with Pauline Maples officiating. Burial was in Crane Community Cemetery under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane.
