Billy Martin "Marty" Raper, Aurora, MO, son of Billy Jay and Peggy Lou (Wilson) Raper, was born on December 9, 1960 in Springfield, MO and departed this life on February 28, 2016 in Aurora, MO at the age of 55.

Marty was a lifelong resident of the area and a chemical operator at BCP Ingredients, Verona, MO. He was a member of Faith Chapel, Crane, MO.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: son, Nigel Raper and his wife, Charity of Aurora, MO; step-son, Nathan Turner and his wife, Lindsay of Fulton, MO; brother, Terry Raper of Henderson, NV; four grandchildren, Braeden Raper, Brooke Turner, Nathan Turner and Madalynn Turner and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held for Marty, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Faith Chapel, Crane, MO. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. following the celebration with Gavin Sowell officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, Mo.
