Jennie Mary Spencer was the third wife of Edward Kappele (Kappell). She must have loved him as she re married him after a divorce. Edward Kappele was an Insurance Agent and because of this, he travelled extensivly throughout the Midwest. The couple lived in Des Moines, Iowa. Edward was on a trip to Duluth; she must have accompanied him. She was carrying his child and birth came with complications. The baby lived but Jennie died giving birth. Her funeral was at the Merritt home in Duluth. Edward moved her to Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. He had a base of employment out of Cleveland and most likely wanted her there with him. His life did not keep him in Cleveland, but found him in Harbourvile, Nova Scotia.
