The funeral for William Robert Hamner 96, will be at 3 p.m. today at Atlas Church of Christ with Steve Shelton, officiating.
Burial will be in Atlas Cemetery, with Loretto Memorial TN directing.
The body will be placed in the church one hour before the funeral.

He died Monday, Jan 24, 1994, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was a native of Lauderdale Co. and a retired farmer and carpenter.
He was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education and TVA Guard.

Survivors include his wife Mary Stutts Hamner, Killen, sons, Hershel, Howard, Horace, Hollie, Hunter, Troy, George, John Hamner all of Killen; daughters Elvie Peck, Agnes Clemmons both of Killen, Edith Nichols, Albertville, Irma Estes St. Louis Mo., Martha Burrow, Dyersburg, TN., brother Taft Hamner Tremont MS., sisters Emma Mae Clemmons, Lola Beavers both of Killen half brother FH Hamner, Saltillo, MS., half-sisters
Eula Hunt, Nellie Aderhold, both of Saltillo, Francis McMullin of Holly Pond MS., 37 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Killen Center Star Rescue Squad Killen.
Bearers will be grandsons and honorary bearers will be great-grandsons.
