HAMNER

Orin Hamner, 67, died Wednesday as the result of an accident, at his home. He was a native of Killen, Ala., and had been a resident of Tupelo most of his life. He was an employee of Cockrell Banana Co., and was a member of Gloster St. Church of Christ.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. George Reese and Minister Clyde Mize officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Lee Creely Hamner of Tupelo; three sisters, Eula V. Hunter and Nellie V. Adderholt, both of Saltillo, and Frances McMullen of Nesbit; one brother, H. F. Hamner of Saltillo; two half sisters, Lola Mae Beavers and Mae Clemens, both of Killen, Ala.; and two half brothers, Robert Hamner of Killen, and Taft Hamner of Tremont.

Pallbearers will be Tommy McCarter, Jerry Adderholt, Bobby Adderholt, Billy Joe McMullen, Allen Francis, David Morgan, Larry Hamner, Ronnie Creeley and Lee Creeley.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Cockrell Banana Company.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
