"Helen Clara Brown, 65, of 47479 Old Route 77, Spartansburg, died Saturday, Jan 11, 1997, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie. She was born Jan 9, 1932, in Spartansburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Christine Kelsey Goodwill. She was raised and educated in Spartansburg and had been a resident there her entire life. She married Donald L Brown on May 20, 1950, in Spartansburg. He survives. Mrs Brown had been employed at Miller's Potato Farm for several years and had spent her life as a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed flower gardening and puzzles. In addition to her husband, Mrs Brown is survived by two daughters, Joan Gee and Mrs Danny (Sharon M) McCaslin, both of Corry; two sons, David L Brown and his wife, Marcia, of Spartansburg and Roger A Brown and his wife, Connie, of Cochranton; a son-in-law, Samuel L Gee Sr of Corry; a sister, Mrs Paul (Violet) Craker of Corry; two brothers, Raymond Goodwill and his wife, Charlotte, of Union City and Donald Goodwill and his wife, Doris, of Corry; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 211 Mechanic St, Spartansburg...and may attend the funeral service there, Wednesday at 11 am, with the Rev Arland Miller, pastor of the Cochranton Mennonite Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Spartansburg."
