Donald William Goodwill, 86, formerly of Corry, Pa., passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, in Wichita, KS.
He was born August 23, 1933, in Little Cooley, Pa., a son of the late Raymond and Christine Kelsey Goodwill.
Don was raised and educated in Spartansburg and attended Spartansburg High School. He worked a short time for the local gas company before working for Carnation Company as a milk tester. He worked there until Middlefield Cheese Company took over and he continued as a field inspector with them for several years until he retired. Don then worked part-time for Country Cupboard as a delivery driver.
After retirement, Don moved to Yuma, Az. There he met and married Thelma Beard Goodwill. The 17 years they were married included traveling, moving to Wichita, KS., volunteering for Prairie Rose Chuckwagon in Benton, KS., and keeping their yard beautiful.
He attended Faith Evangelical Church in Corry. Don enjoyed hunting, going to Corry football games and supporting his children and grandchildren in their sporting activities.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death March 7, 1999 by his first wife, Doris J. Craker Goodwill; two sisters, Helen Brown and Violet Craker; and a brother, Raymond Goodwill.
Don is survived by his wife, Thelma Beard Goodwill of Wichita, KS., whom he married December 31, 2003; two daughters, Debra Goodwill of Wattsburg, Pa., and Karen Munford and her husband James of Yuma, Az.; and two sons, Gary Goodwill and his wife Janet Raye of Yuma, Az., and Paul Goodwill and his wife Judy of Corry, Pa.; a step-duaghter, Linda Treat and her husband Roger of Wichita, KS.; and a step-son, Terry Mills of El Monte, CA.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Christopher (Carol), Kyle, and Nicole Weilacher, Jeff (Katie), Jason (Karen), Nathan (Jennifer) and Taylor (Nicole) Goodwill, Gary (Kristin) Goodwill, II, and Jennifer Goodwill; one step grandson, Steve Meyers; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Pa.
