Stanley L. Jandt, age 92, a lifelong resident of Hinckley, IL passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 26, 1910 in Hinckley, IL the son of Herman and Anna (Dienst) Jandt.
    Stanley was united in marriage on February 9, 1939 in Kaneville, IL to the former Alice May Shaw and they spent 63 happy years of their lives together. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed by his many family members and friends.
    Mr. Jandt attended the English Congregational Church of Christ in Big Rock, IL. He was a lifelong farmer north of Hinckley and a member of the Farm Bureau. Stanley also was a driver for DeKalb Ogle Service Oil Company for over 12 years. Mr. Jandt loved to golf and enjoyed the fellowship of his friends at the coffee shop.
    He is survived by his wife, Alice May Jandt, of Hinckley, IL; his daughter and son-in-law, Leanne (Gene) Parker of Sugar Grove, IL; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leon and Lois Shaw of Kaneville, IL; his two best friend, Jared and Jenna Thorp of Hinckley, IL as well as many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard and Irvin Jandt; his sister Hazel Weiherman and his two grandchildren, Doug and Julie Cole.
    Funeral services for Mr. Jandt will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., Hinckley, Il with Reverend Byron Henn officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hinckley, IL.
    Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel in Hinckley.
