Hazel Hildred Weiherman, 82, of Hinckley, passed away on April 28, 1991. She was born on February 28, 1909, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Dienst) Jandt.

She married Louis Henry Weiherman at St. Paul's Church in Hinckley on May 7, 1936. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley and belonged to the Ladies Guild of the church. She also belonged to the Valparaiso University Guild and the Hinckley Women's Club. She was a manager for an insurance company.

Survivors include her husband, Louis; a daughter, Judy (Jon) R. Schumacher, of Brookfield, WI; four grandchildren, Deborah Schumacher, Jon Schumacher and Kristin Schumacher and Tamara (Thomas) Scheck; one great granddaughter, Katelyn Scheck; two brothers, Howard (Charlotte) Jandt, of Hinckley and Stanley (Alice May) Jandt, of Hinckley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dennis; one brother, Irvin.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 1, at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley. The Reverend Donald Balgeman officiated. Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hinckley.
