Elizabeth Roberts

Elizabeth Roberts, 90, passed away Thurs. Sept. 29, 2011 at Gallatin Health Care. She was born Sept. 1, 1921 in Gallatin Co. the daughter of the late Howard Kirtley and Gipsie Mae Bickers Beach. She was also preceded by a brother, James Edward Beach. Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and member of the Glencoe Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Jimmy W. Roberts and wife Gail of Warsaw, Melvin D. Roberts and wife Dona of Sparta, Donald L. Roberts and wife Barbara of Effingham, IL, one brother, Chester Beach of Newport, three sisters, Bessie Beatrice Moore of Burlington, Roberta Glacken of Glencoe and Mary Frances See of Union. Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held at the GARNETT-NEW-MCDONALD Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1, from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Glencoe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glencoe Baptist Church.
