Roberta M. Glacken, age 85 and a resident of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, October 30th, at the Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Jipsie Beach. Also preceding her in death were her husband: Lawrence “Sonny” Glacken; one son: Larry Glacken Jr.; one daughter: Patty Glacken; two brothers: Chester and James Beach and two sisters: Elizabeth Roberts and Bessie Moore.

Roberta worked as a homemaker and was formerly the Mayor of Glencoe. Roberta is survived by three sons: Troy Glacken (wife Stacey), Terry Glacken (wife Kathy) and Barry Glacken (wife Barbie); one daughter: Kim Lusty (husband Anthony) and one sister: Mary See. Thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2nd, from 11am until 2pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Bro. Denny French officiating. Burial will follow in the Glencoe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
