James Edward "Mousey" Beach, retired from Cincinnati Bell

James Edward "Mousey" Beach, 70, of Burlington, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

He was a retired service technician from Cincinnati Bell, a member of Burlington Baptist Church and Crittenden Sportsman Club, and a volunteer with the Burlington Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Biddle Beach; a son, Jimmy Beach of Burlington; daughters, Pam Jones of Fort Mitchell, Debbie Scott of Owenton, and Barbie Beach of Florence; a brother, Chester Beach of Dayton; sisters, Bessie Moore of Burlington, Roberta Glacken of Glencoe, Elizabeth Roberts of Warsaw, and Mary Frances See of Union; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Hebron. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.

He was a service technician for 30 years with Cincinnati Bell; a Marine Corps veteran; member of Burlington Baptist Church and Crittenden Sportsman Club; and 30-year volunteer for the Burlington Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Biddle Beach; son, Jimmy Beach; daughters, Pam Jones, Debbie Scott and Barbie Beach; brother, Chester Beach; sisters, Bessie Moore, Roberta Glacken, Elizabeth Roberts and Mary Frances See; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday and the service 10 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Hebron. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.
