Abra Corder, a retired farmer of Fayetteville, died Monday at a Nashville hospital following a long illness. He was 85 years old.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Don Ramey of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Ray West officiating. Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery.
Mr. Corder was a native of Lincoln County, a veteran of World War I, and a member of Corder's Crossroads Church of Christ.
Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Russell Baxter, Covington, Tennessee, Mrs. Beulah Locker, Fayetteville, Miss Rosa Corder and Miss Roasie Corder, both of Nashville; two brothers, James Corder, Nashville, and Boone Corder, Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
