Delores M. Berger, 65, of Lexington Ave., South Bend, Ind., died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Mishawaka, Ind., and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 18, 1956, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend, she married Edmund C. Berger, who survives. She is also survived by three daughters, Marianne L. Kaczmarek and her husband Ron, Charlene M. Deters and her husband John, both of South Bend, and Kimberley A. Clark and her husband Dane of North Liberty, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Christopher, JohnMichael and Timothy Deters, all of South Bend, Heather, Bryan, Victoria and Zackary Clark of North Liberty; her mother, Mary Frances Stark of South Bend; a sister, Teresa Lamirand of Denver, Colo.; and a brother, G. Robert Stark of Belmont, Mich. She was preceded in death by her father, George Stark, and by two brothers, David and James Stark.

Mrs. Berger was a homemaker. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where she was president of the Altar and Rosary societies in 1990 and 1991.

Her death certificate gives her father's name as Paul Browning Haley, to whom her mother was married before marrying George Stark.
