Mrs. James J. Stanley died at her home four miles east of Dixon after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held from the Dixon Methodist church Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Knott of that church in charge. He will be assisted by Rev. Wolstomholm of Albaton, Iowa.

Mrs. Stanley was born October 30, 1869 at Decatur, Ill. She is survived by her husband and nine children, two having preceded her in death. The living are Pearl E. Scott of Wakefield, Claude U. Stanley of Dixon, Willis E. Stanley of Jerome, Idaho, Vera B. Hinds of Ponca, Newell C. Stanley of Dixon, Bernice L. Carter of Mercedes, California, Fern K. Haines of Dixon, Harry E. Stanley and Mildred I. Haines, both of Minneapolisand Leslie E. Stanley of Vallejo, CA.
