Nephews are Pallbearers
Six nephews served as pallbearers in the funeral service for M. L. Adams held Monday afternoon at the Downs M. E. church. Officiating were the Rev. William R. Hampton, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Wright of Bloomington, and Rev. Mr. Boyd of Pana, former pastors. The singers were Charles Fisher, Grace Weaver, Cleta Davis, Theodore Davis, accompanied by Mrs. Elma Williams. The nephews who served as pallbearers are Howard Cowdan, Herb Campbell, Russell Romine, Frederick Baum, Walter Strayer and Dean Genders. Burial was in Hopewell cemetery.
