Sarah E. Taylor died at the home of her son, H. C. Taylor, after a short illness, of pneumonia. Her husband had died there the Saturday previously. The funeral was held at the Willow Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Hooper in charge of services. Survivors included four sons: H. C., Walter, Joe, and J. A.; and daughters: Jossie Clark, Nina Smith, and Anna Dovie Blanchett.
