WINNFIELD — Services for Flossie Irene Heck Vess will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. Eugene Love and Donnie Wise officiating. Burial will be in Sanders Chapel Cemetery, Calvin.

Mrs. Vess, 82, of Natchitoches died Tuesday, July 1, 1998, in Autumn Leaves Nursing Home.

She was a native of Calvin and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by the Winn Parish School Board as a bus driver and was the former owner of Sam's Grocery on U.S. Highway 84 West.

Survivors include two sons, Glen Dale Heck of Natchitoches and C.D. Heck of Winnfield; two daughters, Charlene Vails and Geraldine "Moody" Kyson, both of Natchitoches; one stepson, Lane Taylor of Natchitoches; two brothers, Regional Bonnette and Bill Bonnette, both of Winnfield; two sisters, Maurine Patterson of Natchitoches and Leola Clark of Calvin; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
