Geraldine Moody Kyson

Mrs. Geraldine Moody (Heck) Kyson, age 68, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, LA. She was a member of the Christian Harmony Baptist Church, Pace Community, La. Mrs. Kyson was retired from the West Winn Water System where she served as president.
She was the daughter of the late Charles D. Heck and the late Flossie Bonnette (Vess) Heck. Mrs. Kyson was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy A. Kyson.
She is survived by her three sons, Terry C. Roberts of Winnfield, LA, Charles Scott Roberts of Morganton, GA, Troy L. Kyson of Winnfield, LA; one sister, Charlene Vails and husband Oscar of Natchitoches, LA; two brothers, Glen D. Heck of Winnfield, LA and Charles D. Heck and wife Ann of Winnfield, LA;four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; one aunt, Mrs. Maurine Patterson of the Pace Community, LA.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, November 1, 2008 and from noon to service time Sunday, November 2, 2008. Funeral services will be held at Southern Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, with Bro. George Holland officiating. Interment will be at Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Calvin, LA.
Jason Heck, Chris Morgan, Jason Steadman, Chris Gordon, Bodie Little, and Samuel Steadman will serve as pallbearers.
