Sarah (Sallie) Murphee Seale Jones was the daughter of Joseph Coulson Seale, Jr. and Mary Franklin Spring. She died of tuberculosis and left a young child, Cleora Jones in the care of her sister, Winona (Nona) Zulina Seale Hammonds, who raised her.

Sallie died at the residence of Bill and Wynona Hammonds on August 13th at 11:55 PM. She lived on the Homer Road. Her funeral service was held at 4 PM on August 14, 1921. She died of tuberculosis. Bill Hammonds was the informant. She was 29 years old when she died.
