Wilbur Joseph Seale was the son of Joseph Coulson Seale, Jr. and Mary Franklin Spring Seale and brother of William Walter Seale (also buried in Gann Cemetery). He married Evie Lena Nobles December 17, 1904 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.

At the time of his death, Wilbur lived at Route 1, Pollock, Texas, but he died in Houston, Harris Co., TX. He was a carpenter by trade and was self-employed. He was a member of the O'Quinn Baptist Church. The services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 1954. He died of "Coronary Occlusion".
