OREGON, Mo - Orpha Mae Doebbeling, 88, died Monday morning at a St. Joseph medical center.

Born in Union Star, Mo., on Nov. 4, 1890, Mrs. Doebbeling, widow of Fred Doebbeling, resided in the Oregon and Forest City, Mo., area most of her life. she was a member of the Forest city Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Irene Mowry, Tampa, Fla., Frieda Choate, Vidor, Texas, Margurite Mullens, Overland Park, Kan., and Laura Tabacchi, Canton, Ohio; three sons, Kenneth Doebbeling and Harry Doebbeling, Oregon; tow sisters, Pauline Singleton, St. Joseph, and Ruth Ellis, Independence, Kan.; five brothers, Allie Arnold and Lawrence Arnold, both of St. Joseph, Earl Arnold, Wesson, MIss., roy Arnold, Independence, Mo., and Kerman Arnold, San Francisco. Calif.; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Forest City Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Forest city cemetery.
