Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Bargh, 70 former Ironwood resident who died Tuesday in Angola, Indiana, will be conducted here Saturday at 2 at the Church of the Transfiguration by Rev F Alvin Cheever. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery
The remains will arrive here Friday morning and will be taken to the Chappel-Zielinski funeral home which will be open starting at 3 PM Friday and until the time of the services Saturday.
Mrs Bargh, the former Hettie Monroe was born in Ontonagon March 2 1886, the daughter of Mr and Mrs James S Monroe. She came to Ironwood with her parents in the fall of 1886. She was married to Thomas M Bargh Oct 2, 1915. They moved to Ely, Minn., in 1941, and after Mr Bargh's retirement moved to Algona in 1955.
Mrs Bargh leaves her husband and one daughter, Mrs Robert Barton of Angola, one granddaughter, and a sister Alga MacMahon of Tacoma, Washington.-IRONWOOD [MI] DAILY GLOBE: 12 Jun 1956
