William August Fischer, 78, died at his home in Cleveland. He was born Sept 10, 1874 in the town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, WI to August and Henrietta Fischer.
He married Miss Minnie Born at Saints John and Peter Lutheran Church , Centerville on Jan 29, 1907. The couple operated the Fischer homestead farm in the town of Centerville, a mile west of Cleveland until their retirement in 1944. Since that time they made their home in Cleveland. Mr Fischer was a lifetime member of Saints John and Peter Lutheran Church at Centerville.
Survivors are his wife; one son Reuben, on the homestead farm and a sister Mrs William Meyer, Sheboygan. His parents, one brother and five sisters preceded him in death. Burial in Saxon Cemetery.
