SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. G. AUXIER
Funeral services for Mrs. Glyda Halfhill Auxier, 69, were held Saturday afternoon at the Ackworth Friends Church. Graveside services were held at the Humeston Cemetery.
Mrs. Auxier died Wednesday afternoon at Des Moines General Hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday evening.
She has lived on a farm north of Sandyville the past 14 years and previously had lived near Mitchellville.
She was a member of Ackworth Friends Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Deloice Wellons and Mrs. Frances McCombs, both of Des Moines; three sons, Lemoine Auxier of Woodward, Larry Auxier of Des Moines and Gary Auxier of Gowrie; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Doyle Halfhill of Chariton.
