INDIANOLA, IA. - Services for Lawrence R. Auxier, 74, of Indianola, who died of a stroke Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene here. Burial will be in Humeston Cemetery in Humeston.
Mr. Auxier was born in Wayne County. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; three sons, Lemoine "Lee" of Woodward, Larry of Des Moines and Garry of Gowrie; two daughters, Deloice Wellons and Frances McCombs, both of Des Moines; two stepsons, Richard Ackerman of Indianola and David Ackerman of Tucson, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Deloris Ackerman of Texas; 22 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at Overton Funeral Home here. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
