William Martin Barlow, 56, 407 Granville Ave., died at Ball Hospital 8:30 a.m. Wednesday following a brief illness.

He was born in Livingston, Tenn., and moved to Muncie about 20 years ago. Mr. Barlow has been employed at Delco-Remy the past 18 years.

Surviving are his wife, Maude; four daughters, Miss Edna Barlow and Mrs. William Plummer, Muncie, Mrs. John Sexton, Goldsboro, N.C., and Mrs. Thomas Mahoney, Fostoria, Ohio; three sons, Waymond W. and Lowell B., both of Muncie, and Raymond J., El Monte, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Jaynes, Muncie, and Mrs. Charles Crabtree, Stearns, Ky.; a brother, Marvin Barlow, Muncie; his stepmother, Mrs. Sadie Barlow, Muncie; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary 1 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow in Garden of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary after 6 p.m. today, any time Thursday, and prior to the services Friday.
