Walter O. has lived in Arlington for 31 years. He was a former teacher nd owner of the Arlington Nursery. He owed and operated the Workman Drug Store for years.
He was a charter member of the Arlington Kiwanis club which he served as president and for which he was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award in 1955. Walter graduated from East Texas State Teachers College and received a masters degree at North Texas State University in 1962.
