New Albany was shocked by the sudden and unexpected death at noon on Friday, November 17th, of Mrs. Charles C. Brown, the wife of C. C. Brown, the Pearl street merchant and civic community up-builder. . . She was 64 years of age and was a native of this city, where all her life was spent. She was a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Goodbub, and a sister of the late George Goodbub. She is survived by her husband, Charles C. Brown; one son, Clarence E. Brown of this city; and two daughters, Mrs. John E. Harmon of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. P. E. Alberti of Columbus, O.; both of whom hastened to the city upon receipt of word of her death.
