George Henry Doan, 89, 3601 16th Ave., Sterling, died Wednesday evening at the Edgewild Health Center, Sterling.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Garrity, assistant pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dixon, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Doan was born April 4, 1892 in Darlington, Wis., the son of William and Anna (Williams) Doan. He was a member of ST. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dixon.
There are no immediate survivors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and two sisters.
