Ira and Genevieve celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 5, 1963 with an open house at their home in Linby, Iowa hosted by their children. Genevieve was a homemaker. She was a member of the Linby Baptist Church and was active in her church. She was a member of the Linby Zephyr Club.
