Former Annie Inches of St. Stephen Dead at Home on Germain Street, Calais
Funeral To Be Held There Thursday Afternoon
Mrs. Annie Inches Whitlock, daughter of the late Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs. James Archibald Inches of St. Stephen, and wife of Colin Campbell Whitlock, passed away at her home on Germain Street, Calais, at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon following a brief illness.
Mrs. Whitlock, who was 80 years of age last August, devoted her life principally to her husband and family, and was respected and revered as a loyal, loving wife and mother.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, three daughters, a grandson and an adopted daughter - Helen Whitlock Johnson of Melrose, Mass., Muriel Y. Whitlock and Bessie C. Whitlock of Calais, J. Lawton Whitlock of Cambridge, Mass., and Marion B. Lambe of Calais, all of whom were at her bedside during her last hours. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. James S. Murray of St. Stephen and Mrs. Harry Noonan of Portland.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Thursday afternoon, December 1, at 2:30 o'clock, Calais time. Interment will be in the family lot in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
