Born in Topeka, Kansas on April 1, 1924 and passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Edd married Aida I. Truppi of Italy while serving overseas during WWII. He served in the Army Air Corp during the war and spent nearly 21 years with the Air Force/Civil Service. Edd retired after 31 years of Government service in 1980. He was a resident of Pensacola since 1973.
Edd is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Aida Andrews; his sister, Alta Vorhies, Eudora, Kansas; his children, Thomas E. Andrews (Deborah), Marry L. Flack (Steve) and Marta L. Andrews; grandchildren, Kelly and Austin Flack and Daniella Fain; five great-grandchildren, Andrea Doplantis, Kage and Selest Domangue and Lauren and Megan Boudoin.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2011 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
