Mrs. Radford died Monday, May 11, 1998, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.

She was born June 5, 1913, in Topeka, the daughter of Thomas Ebert and Ora Edna Ellis Andrews.

Mrs. Radford was a member of the First Christian Church of Hays. She had been a seamstress in Salina and for Blanchard Cleaners in Topeka. Mrs. Radford had been a nurse's aide at Hadley Memorial Hospital in Hays.

She married Caleb Lee Radford Sr. on Nov. 16, 1929, in Manhattan. He died Feb. 28, 1989.

Survivors include five sons, Caleb ''Lee'' Radford Jr., Ralph D. Radford and George E. Radford, all of Topeka; Eddie E. Radford, Big Sandy, Tex.; Marion H. Radford, Arvada, Colo.; a brother, Edd L. Andrews, Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Beatrice Mitchell, Topeka, Erma Gould, Glendora, Calif., and Alta Vorhies, Eudora; 35 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
