Anna Marie Andrews is the daughter of Thomas and Edna (Ellis) Andrews. Anna was married on August 18, 1932 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas to a George Nels Sill, Senior (b. 1913, d. 1995). They moved from Kansas to Phoenix, Arizona in the early 1940's. George worked for Goodyear and Anna "screwed nuts on bolts" during the war. This was the only time she worked (other than housewife & mother) during her lifetime. After the war (aprox 1945) they again relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where George worked for Hollege Hydromatic Service in Richmond and subsequently started his own partnership called RichTex, a drywall materials manfacturing company, also located in Richmond. Anna never held a drivers license nor had she ever written a check. Both she and George were devout Nazarene's and were very active in all aspects of the chruch. They were the parents of five children all of whom are still living.
