Funeral for Gracie Rubye McCafferty, 74, of 2802 Lexington Avenue SW will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oak Park Church of God with the Rev. Steve Wesson officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. McCafferty died Monday at Monroe Hospital in Ocala, Fla. She was a member of Oak Park Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Eroy McCafferty; one daughter, Lenora Wright of Birmingham; five brothers, R.B. Nelson of Hartselle, James M Nelson of Hartselle, T.M. Nelson of Birmingham, William Nelson of Decatur and Price Nelson of Huntsville; six sisters, Beatrice Gibson of Cullman, Macie Braswell and Dora Lee Ryan, both of Decatur, Callie Brady of Moulton, Ann Hopper of Cornersville, Tenn, and Frances Frye of San Francisco; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
