HARTSELLE - Charlie Judson Nelson, 74, of Route 4, Hartselle, died Tuesday at Decatur General Hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jack Freeman and the Rev. C.G. Reding officiating.

Burial was to be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Hembree of Hartselle and Mrs. Peggy Payne and Mrs. Carolyn Moore, both of Decatur; a son, Larry Nelson of Danville; five brothers, Mim Nelson of Danville, Price Nelson of Huntsville, T. M. Nelson of Birmingham and R.V. Nelson and William Nelson, both of Moulton; seven sisters, Mrs. Kelly Bradey of Moulton, Mrs. Ann Hopper of Birmingham, Mrs. Frances Frye of California, Mrs. Beatrice Gibson of Cullman and Mrs. Gracie McCafferty, Mrs. Macie Braswell and Mrs. Dorlee Ryan, all of Decatur; and 14 grandchildren.
