Robert's parents were Robt. C. and E. S. Wingfield. His age was 25 years and 2 days. Sarah's parents were Wm. G and A. Harlan and her age was 24 years and 29 days. His occupation was farmer.
Robert and Sarah were known to have had three daughters, Adeline (born as A. E. D.), Selina and Willie Ann.
In 1870 Robert and Sarah with daughters Adeline and Selina were enumerated on the same page with his widowed mother, several brothers and Sarah's parents.
In 1880 Robert and Sarah and three daughters were still living close to his mother and siblings.
In 1900, now a widower, Robert was living with daughter Willie Ann Norvell and family. His birth was given as December 1836 but 1835 would be more consistent with other records, namely marriage record which gave 25 in 1860 and his death record in October of 1905 which gave his age as 69.
