Samuel Charles Emerick, 71, Hyndman, died in Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Thursday, August 1, 1968. He was born February 18, 1897 at Buffalo Mills R 1, a son of Andrew and Annie (Smith) Emerick. He is survived by his wife Mildred (Browning) Emerick and three daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Miller of Hyndman, Mrs. Edith Kennell of Hyndman and Mae Emerick at home. One brother, Ross Emerick of Hyndman and one grandchild also survive. He was a retired steel worker. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Sunday, August 4 at Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.
